About Paul
Paul began his working life in the computer services industry. He quickly gained an extremely responsible position within one of the worlds largest computer services companies, having been responsible, on occasions, for the running of one of their largest datacentres in the country.
However, Paul always had an interest in the areas of psychology and hypnosis, as well as a genuine desire to help people. So when he discovered hypnoanalysis, he saw it as an ideal way to combine all these three things, and the decision to have a complete career change, became an easy one.
Paul trained in hypnotherapy, hypnoanalysis and psychotherapy with the Hypnotherapy Control Board, the largest hypnotherapy training school in Europe.
Having gained his qualifications, Paul was soon invited to be a full member of the International Association of Hypno-Analysts.
Members of the International Association of Hypno-Analysts are bound by a strict code of ethics which not only ensures premium quality care, but also guarantees complete privacy and confidentiality for the client.
Members of the IAH must also achieve a sufficient level of Continuing Professional Development, to ensure existing skills and techniques are constantly updated. Continuing Professional Development takes the form of advanced training and research in the fields of hypnosis, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and related fields.
International Association of Hypno-Analysts members also have background checks done as a criteria of membership. The background checks are done through the Department of Health's POCALS system to ensure absolute client peace of mind.
Paul is also a practising member of the General Hypnotherapy Register.
Paul’s other great interests are in art and music. He plays the guitar, draws and paints. Paul’s drawings and limited edition prints are in private collections all over the world, and his commissioned portraits have been shipped worldwide, although he now finds it difficult to find the time to take on new commissions.
Paul is also the only pencil drawing artist ever to be taken on by one of the UK’s largest contemporary art publishers.
