What is Suggestion Hypnotherapy? (Also known as suggestion therapy)

Suggestion Hypnotherapy (Also known as suggestion therapy) is a type of hypnotherapy is used to treat those issues that don't really have any deep underlying anxiety causing them.

It's a very relaxing type of therapy, and it can be used to treat things like stopping smoking, nail biting, and where time is short, things like the fear of public speaking or the fear of flying.

Relaxation

Suggestion hypnotherapy uses relaxation as a tool to help you overcome your habit based problem. When your mind is relaxed, it is much more likely to accept the idea of the changes that you want to make in your life.

Modern hypnotherapy is a million miles away from the 'swinging watch' stereotypes of old TV and films... it's a real, psychological tool that works!

An added benefit of suggestion therapy is that you'll learn some very good relaxation techniques that you take away with you and use in every-day life.

An example of suggestion therapy: Stopping Smoking

One of the habits that people most often use hypnotherapy to overcome, is smoking. Hypnotherapy is indeed the most successful aid to stopping smoking that there is.

For most people, smoking is, quite simply, a psychological habit, and suggestion therapy can help the vast majority of these people to stop smoking. (For some, their smoking is a symptom of an underlying anxiety, in which case they can still be helped, but analytical hypnotherapy might be a better option.)

Which type of hypnotherapy is best for you?

Suggestion therapy can be a single session, can be very relaxing, and can help to manage some problems very successfully.

'Pure' Hypnoanalysis has helped countless people over the years. The aim of 'Pure' Hypnoanalysis is not to 'control', or 'manage' the problem, the aim is to resolve it completely.
