The terms and conditions of use of our websites, products, businesses and therapies.

Pauldouglass.co.uk is a trading style of Avon Hypnotherapy, and as such is subject to the following terms and conditions that apply to Avon Hypnotherapy and all other trading names / trading styles of Avon Hypnotherapy.

All content presented in this, or any other media supplied by Avon Hypnotherapy (including, but not limited to the website, downloads and documents), is for educational purposes only, should be considered as general information only, and is not a substitute for the advice of a medical doctor, or any other health care professional.

The client is always responsible for consulting their General Practitioner, to ensure their physical and mental well-being.  If in doubt, all clients should contact their medical doctor before embarking on any complementary treatment.

Moreover, it is advisable to consult a physician, or other health care professional, before embarking on any weight loss / slimming and/or fitness plan programme.  Responsibility for doing so remains with the client at all times.  Hypnotherapy for weight loss, is designed to aid, and not replace, a sensible and well-balanced calorie controlled diet.

Avon Hypnotherapy is neither liable nor responsible for the contents of any external sites linked to, nor does it endorse any product or service contained therein.

Please note: Clients are respectfully reminded that appointments with Avon Hypnotherapy that are cancelled at short notice (less than 72 hours) will be charged at the normal sessional fee, as your therapists time and facilities will have been reserved for you. 

For cancellations with greater than 72 hours notice, any fees already paid will be refunded, less a £12 administration charge.

Avon Hypnotherapy cannot be held responsible for loss or damages as a result of e-mail data being intercepted, lost or misdirected.  The use of e-mail communication is with the understanding that the data cannot be assumed as secure.

Avon Hypnotherapy cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury arising from the use or mis-use of the website, download, or any of the content contained therein.

All content of the website and other material is copyright and may not be distributed or copied in any way without express written consent. All content is subject to change at any time and without notice.

Avon Hypnotherapy may be paid a commission by any third party.

All driving directions and/or estimated journey time or any other journey advice should be taken as an approximate guidance only, and should not be used for route planning purposes. Missed appointments or late arrivals due to the use of such advice will not be rescheduled or refunded. It is the client's responsibility to ensure adequate travel time.

Any testimonials shown on this website refer to one-to-one therapy and other services performed or provided by Avon Hypnotherapy, and should not be seen as an indication of the service that may be performed by other therapists outside of Avon Hypnotherapy.

While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website, information and statistics shown on the website cannot be guaranteed to be accurate or up to date.

Please note: not everyone who has an initial consultation will be taken into therapy.  Each client is evaluated for suitability on an individual basis.

Where a viewer to the website gives Avon Hypnotherapy their details with regard to hypnotherapy training, Avon Hypnotherapy may pass these details in full to an external training provider.

Where a viewer to the website gives Avon Hypnotherapy their details with regard to finding a therapist in their local area, including the 'find-a-therapist' service, Avon Hypnotherapy may pass these details in full to a third party therapist, in order for that third party therapist to contact that person.

Each hypnotherapy practice is indivudually owned and operated. Therapists mentioned in the 'find a therapist' portions of this website (except Paul Douglass and Denise Douglass) are NOT representatives of Avon Hypnotherapy, and it is the client's responsibility to ensure the therapist's ability to perform the services requested.

Any correspondence or therapy with a third part therapist is at the client's own risk. Avon Hypnotherapy cannot be held responsible for any aspect of the interraction between client and third party therapist.

Avon Hypnotherapy are not responsible for advice given by any third party, including, but not limited to therapists (including those referred to in the 'find-a-therapist' programme), websites, and training providers.

Where a client communicates with an external therapist, either as a result of using the find-a-therapist service, or any other communication with Avon Hypnotherapy, the client agrees that the information submitted shall be forwarded in whole or in part to an external therapist, and that Avon Hypnotherapy may receive a fee for this transfer of information.

Information submitted to Avon Hypnotherapy may be directed to Avon Hypnotherapy in the first instance, for subsequent forwarding to an external therapist, either manually or automatically.

Where referrals are sent to an external IAPH therapist, it is the clients responisibilty to ensure that the therapist is a current IAPH member.

Packaging illustrations are for illustrative purposes only.

By entering details in any correspondence with Avon Hypnotherapy, the sender shall agree that we may subsequently contact the sender to follow up on the process.

Downloads

All downloads purchased from Avon Hypnotherapy are purchased on the strict understanding that Avon Hypnotherapy cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury arising from the use or mis-use of the download, or any of the content contained therein.

Individual results will vary.

Do not use any downloaded product while driving, operating any machinery, or in any situation where your ability to perform any action is requied.

Do not use any download if you suffer from epilepsy, depression, or any other psychological, psychiatric or nervous condition, or if you are under the influence of substances (including but not limited to alcohol or drugs).

Any person using any downloads do so on the strict understanding that they shall remain entirely responsible for their own actions and decisions at all times.

While we will make every effort to fulfil download orders within a reasonable amount of time, fulfilment of download orders may be subject to a delay while payments are processed manually.

Hypnotherapy for weight loss can only aid slimming as part of a calorie controlled diet.

Any and all content purchased from Avon Hypnotherapy is subject to the appropriate copyright laws. No content, including but not limited to downloads, either in whole, or in part, may not be republished, forwarded, sold, hired, resold, transmitted, copied, transferred or in any way made available to any person who has not directly purchased the content, without express written consent from Avon Hypnotherapy.
